hiii!! i miss tcwb so ive been rereading it a lot and everytime i hear xlov’s song ‘Scent’ it makes me think of tcwb jaeri ☺️ i miss them so much ! i cant wait to read the sequel if ur still writing it 🥺🫶🏻 sending love.
I'm still writing the first spin off! It's taking me an unreasonable amount of time for a simple fluffy one-shot, I have written like 3k words already and I think it will be 8-10k words long by the time I finish it. I asked for PTO this friday to rest because I've been overworked af, and there's a national holiday on monday so I'll have a lot more free time to write this weekend, hopefully I will be able to finish it 🤞🤞🤞.
About the song, I love XLOV!!! And I can totally picture Scent playing in that scene where Riku and Daeyoung make out for the first time u///u. Thank you for rereading TCWB 🥹💖. It means a lot to me! Have an amazing week~

Someone has probably already asked you this, but what was your inspiration for writing tcwb?
A neighbor of mine! She is an old lady who was a nun and got expelled for being a lesbian, of course it's not the same story as my fic but still, when I found out about that, it made me think about how cool it would be if I wrote a religious fic, and so I developed the plot from there.

I want to, I will try to do it over the year. Sadly, I started my fic 'career' when I was unemployed and I had a lot of time to write back then, now I've had a job for 10 months and my time to write reduced a lot 😭😭. But my schedule is as following:
-Finishing The Method and maybe the first TCWB spin off (Riku and Daeyoung getting married) in June. Also writing a short birthday fic for a friend.
-Finishing The Sound of Falling Apart (there's just 1 chapter left) before July.
-Start planning and writing this TCWB Yushi spin off. I already know what I want to write but I need organization.
I hate that my job gets in the way of my yaoi 😭😭😭😭. I'm super sorry!

hi jaeribu! i need to ask something from you :( i want to read jaeri fics where the smut is juicy and the plot doesn't really matter. i'm not a reader on ao3 i mostly read from posttype so i want to start from somewhere and i have only read your fics so i wanted to ask to yours truly! you may not be a smut reader person so i'm not sure tho :") if it makes you uncomfy, i'm sorry...
I don't read a lot of smut BUT lately I found soaaap's smutty fics and I think they're amazing! I also like onyurid's fics, specially "everybody here wants you." You can check those two accounts on AO3, I'm sure you'll like them! And of course, the classic 21june28 fic "Challengers" though that one is Jaeriyu lol. I have to read more, but I've not been in the mood lately and I get home too late so I just use my free time to sleep and write.

After The Method, will you have any new plans to write a WIP?
Yes, I will (hopefully) finish the TCWB spinoff (a one-shot where they get married lol) and also finish the final chapter of The Sound of Falling Apart. I already started writing them both, I just haven't had the time to get them done 😭. And I've been thinking about what my next long fic will be 🤔.

hi :3 im bad at commenting fics im so sorry for this but i have just finished reading the latest chapter of the method and i want to say that the expose that happened on riku gagged me! i wasn't expecting this at all, i thought maybe there would be a scene where dispatch followed them everywhere and exposed daeng's gay ass with his costar but the worse happened and riku's scandal broke! i cannot wait for the last chapter, thank you and 21june28 for writing it<3

how do you plan your fics? do you do scene by scene before writing it or write - plan the next - then write again? i want to motivate myself to write wip but i'm so scared of letting it go it's a big commitment
Sorry for replying so late 😭. Yeah, I make a rough outline of the scenes in order and then I start writing the actual fic. It's very useful to organize your mind! And if you get stuck in one scene, you can try to write the next and then come back, that's when I do when I'm uninspired fkfk.

hi! i got inspired by my friend to write a fic especially since i wanted to contribute to jaeri community so may i ask how you get inspiration with your writing? i fear i do have to read more but i’m quite bad at reading books honestly 😖
I get inspiration mostly from little things in real life. For example, I got the idea for TCWB because I found our my old neighbor, who was a nun, got expelled from a convent for being a lesbian. Of course, it's not exactly the same thing, but it was like a story seed. Sometimes I read posts from Reddit, Unlikely Gains was based on a post titled "I'm in love with my gym bro." Other times, I talk with my friends and I get a random idea I develop later.
When I have the idea, I make a draft and I write what has to happen in each chapter. If it's a one-shot, I divide it into 3 parts: Introduction - Problem - Resolution. Then I start writing the actual thing.
