the cooking allegory only works if you get mad at someone complaining about the food you made and turns out your prepared meal has ingredients the other doesn't want to eat and you didn't mention it beforehand. of course it's different if i cooked too but told everyone today's menu is cabbage soup and anyone who doesn't want cabbage soup knows to avoid my cooking. simple.
no because in this case you know what’s in the soup, you’re just interrogating the host for the details about the preparation and the spices and the variety of vegetables and then getting mad and flinging insults at the host. you know what the ship and fandom is and any archive warnings and that is all you are entitled to. that’s the cabbage. anything more is optional.
