Perhaps "should" was not the best word choice for that question, that's my fault 😅 I didn't even think about the darker stuff that happens within the industry so I do understand your hestitation on answering it. Personally, I write more light-hearted stuff and with idolverse, my scope seems a bit limited because I tend to fall back on the secret relationship tropes and I do want to expand in writing something else within that space.
Thank you for linking the Bleak Boyband Bingo, I've never seen that before and that might help giving me idea on what to write next!
Love a good secret relationship! I know in the past Inkigayo sandwiches were a thing (idols slipping each other their numbers) and I've seen people say that uh. Cars and hallways. Are a popular place for idols to hookup (good for them!!!).
Someone feel free to correct me on this also but the couples shirt/couple items have kind of been demystified for me after spending a month in Seoul. The number of times I saw a couple wearing matching shirts... that were buy one get one free at the mall about 5 minutes later was not zero. I don't doubt there are sweet intentions but it was one of those things that made me text the groupchat with "what is more romantic than a good deal"
