I honestly think they’re all renewing — there is a voice in the back of my head that’s agreeing with you anon — I think at … — I’m ngl I haven’t rlly thought about that (if anything I kinda expected the other way around — them being more detached afte… https://alterspring.org/@imaginaldisk/a/115022386461691116

See idk I figured that all would push them away but I get the weird newer sense of unity. How I see it theirs just no more real dread or uncertainty about their fame/career so their more content with it. Like you could tell their decline in popularity was something that bothered them and had wanted to improve but now that he’s gone a torched everything I think they’ve hit the it is what it is more carefree stage. Not saying they’ve given up, theirs still obviously a drive with their personal careers but I think they’re no longer trying to be anything more than what they are and just want to protect/maintain what all they have left. And the easiest way to do that would be everyone resigning.

… u know what anon this actually makes a lot of sense. if this is true then good for them honestly. I recently saw an attempt in objectively ranking the top kpop bgs from 2nd gen to early 4th gen in terms of impact popularity influence & nct placed unexpectedly high (at least higher than some groups I thought would be above them) for what it’s worth. while it’s about nct as a whole, the explanation still made sense for 127: despite never rlly being that gp friendly, they keep on having units activities and achieving stable & good results. like you can see they have a very dedicated strong core fanbase be it group stans unit stans or solos. I think they really carved out a specific audience & if they can keep the momentum (no pun) going then they could be one of those groups that might not be in the center of the public eye but will attract fans & engagement whenever they have activities / comebacks / tours
