I just listened to Moonshiners.. not the biggest fan of country accents but it’s different from the usual country songs. I like how soft sounding it is before getting more loud halfway, it’s like they’re telling me a story. Kind of reminds me of The Oh Hellos, in a way… even Like Yaelokre. Would listen to again! υ´ᴖ ﻌ ᴖ`υ
yes! I like the softer nature of it building up to the intensity - my favourite part is probably how they sing "after 33 years of this I've got a government of my own" - songs that border on country but lean more into folk rock are my guilty pleasure - I can understand the likeness to the oh hellos and yaelokre especially with the story like nature of it! I'm glad you enjoyed :)
