How do you decide what to write? I have so many ideas and work on some here and there but when the burst of inspiration stops I don't know which one I should focus on. I tried working on the one that seems the easiest to write but I wasn't really that invested so I stopped. I have like 5+ fics started that I think could seriously get somewhere but somehow I can't progress in any of them. I haven't finished/posted anything yet so I have no idea how to move on and I don't have any writer friends so I really could use some advice 💔
hi friend, okay so even I have a lot of ideas on what I want to write and many times the random burst of inspiration only last a few while and many of my own WIPS are left unattended for months. like I have 2 to 3 at least that I know I want to get back to, but they’ve not been touched for over a year and sometimes you just need that zone to be able to pick those back up. I guess what really helps me in deciding what I want to pick up is which story I want to see finished like the last fic I posted was chapter 2 of igyneimf and I picked that up because I really wanted to finish their storyline and I guess that can be a really great deciding factor. It’s really hard to write, so I hope you give yourself the grace to take your time, listen to music that inspires you or what shows that inspire you so that you can get back into that zone and finally write and complete what you want and if it helps, you can just jump between different documents as well. There is no right way of doing it!!!!
