hi jai i just wanted to say that i think you're very good with dialogue 😊 that's all thx for coming to my ted talk hehe but fr tho it just occurred to me a while ago while reading one of your stories and ive been meaning to let u know since skslslskf almost forgot but yeah im here now!! i can't remember which one of your stories i was reading exactly but i just thought it was very well executed bc u mix the dialogue itself with speech tags that express how they are saying things in nice and succinct ways as well as with actions like stuff they do as they speak that fit the scene well and like you dont overdo it and idk it all just blends together really nicely!! so yeah sorry for rambling but you deserve to be recognized for ur talent 🫵🏻🤨 mwah
omggg thank you !! literally you have no idea how hyped i was after reading this !! i try to write realistic dialogue and i fiddle with my speech tags constantly (probably too much lmfao). i be getting into it 😂 istg the number of blogs and writing style guides i've read to decide when/how i should break things up with paragraphs cuz i swear my brain lost all those technical rules after college. very happy to know that all the dicking around i do these days is noticeably paying off 🥹
