The only set requirement is whatever month is designated to the writer. Everything else is free to the writer's creativity.

Hi! I was wondering if there's any restrictions on the songs that can be chosen, like do they have to be songs that are in english?
Very good question. Actually, every language is welcome, as long as the song is either about the month or has the month in the title
