hi mukiiii
i wanted to ask about your writing process since ive been so impressed with your work, especially for a long work like silver springs. how did you start ss off, for example? did you think of like a vague idea for a plot line or specific conflict, then slowly think of more specific points for the plot?
hi! thank u! with silver springs, i started out with nothing but an accumulation of concepts and a desire to find a way to combine it altogether (fleetwood mac, forbidden lovers miso, etc)
with silver springs specifically, i just opened a doc and began jotting down scenes that i knew i would want to include no matter what, and tried to build context around those scenes and stretch them as far back (and forwards) as i could. i originally planned for ss to be no longer than 80k, yet as i continued writing the lore got the better of me lol. my one thought was simply "stevie and nicks of fleetwood mac except they had children and their children fell in love and we can turn it into some sort of modern romeo and juliet"
kind of all over the place type answer but those r my thoughts hehe
