is it just me who doesn't like the term "mom" getting used for a biologically male person in a fic where the couple has kids? for example, shua being called "mom/mama" in many fics, like... i don't know. It's like, for me, as a queer person, it rubs in the wrong way because you're making it seem like that only a mother can have such a vulnerable role of taking care of a child, that it's a mother's duty only so the guy, in a ship, who's taking on the role of nurturing the child more actively, should be called "mama" like... i just find it weird. It's not weird when they say "mommy" (as almost a joke) to a really sexy photo, that's okay but it's weird in fanfics tbh.

I don't know, sometimes, everyone here feels so homophobic. Like the topic that shua is pretty and feminine so he must be a bottom like no, he has great muscles and while I also mostly like to read fics where he's a bttm i just think that its weird to ignore his actual body for which he works so hard for. That being the case, i think there should be more fics with dom bottom shua who manhandles han easily like... that's really accurate to actual jihan/yoonhong dynamics.

A top can be pretty like a girl and feminine and like cute things and a bottom can be manly as fuck! thinking otherwise, it would just mean we're trying to force a bxb ship into a hetero one, something more "socially" acceptable and falling into stereotypes about gay people. I don't know if i'm explaining it right but, yk?
