18, 17, 12 for your fic writer asks! <3
unfortunately i don't keep my drafts :( since i tend to write a whole fic before i go back and do substantive editing, all of my drafts get edited over and i don't keep them. i also don't tend to completely edit out scenes, since for larger fics i'm following a pre-determined outline.
my writing and editing process differs quite a bit depending on if i'm writing a longg fic or a short fic! for shorter fics i tend to just start writing and see where my mind takes me, but for longer fics with more in-depth plots i start with a scene-by-scene outline and then flesh out those scenes while writing. my editing process is not very intensive (though it maybe should be...) so i usually write a full first draft and then go back and edit the entire thing - i'm not usually editing scenes as a go along.
i've always been a huge fan of the childhood friends trope, and that absolutely remains true! i've also very much been enjoying fics that lean into horror/corruption/monster tropes recently, and i hope to write something in this vein myself at some point :)
