thank you omg waking up to these messages was so sweet. i promise i have super thick skin and at the end of the day i’m writing fic for free and for fun and anyone who wants to insult me or other authors for it is just a loser who can’t fathom the concept of community and engagement within fandom.

hii! i just wanted do tell you that while i have only read 'down to the bone', i am sure you are incapable of creating 'mid slop'. dttb was intricate, complex, and haunting, and it was genuinely touching. I think you are such a beautiful writer, and i will be reading the rest of your work, because i think the way you can create such immersive plots and dynamic characters is so special. also i dont know if this is intentional, but dttb reminds me of the roblox games The Mimic and Doors! Im pretty sure The Mimic is also set in Japan! I literally left wondering if it was a Doors x Mimic AU! it's so cool and creepy, i love the horror :))
hi okay first of all THANK YOU for this lovely compliment it genuinely means so much to me. i’m so so happy you like the fic because i really was just writing it for me and wasn’t sure anyone would be interested. BUT! i’ve been waiting for a chance to say this but while it’s not based on that, it is very loosely based on a video game. i say loosely because my favorite streamer was playing a game one night called “the pale mimic” and i didn’t even really watch much of the gameplay because i was multitasking but just the game title and a single snippet of gameplay of the player in a cabin gave me the fic idea. so i’m so happy you asked hehe. i will have to check out the roblox game thank you for telling me about it!!

Hey :) I just wanted to come in for a quick second to thank you for writing in multiple fandoms. It makes my multi heart so full and I admire your writing so much. People are way too comfortable being cruel or weird about it, but never let any of their loser souls get you down. Keep doing what makes YOU the happiest, that’s all that really matters

i’m genuinely like so floored by the interest in this fic i really hope it lives up to y’all’s expectations 😭😭 but the summary is basically 4 films ncej work on together over the years and the ways their relationship teeters on the edge of being something because jju is a repressed former child star too afraid to go for it with a controlling stage mom, while nik keeps letting him back in despite knowing he shouldn’t.

bunny omg 😿😿😿 i’m doing okay, no need to worry. not too much has changed in my personal life since i last interacted, but i’m managing and hopefully some good things will be happening soon! i actually teared up a little seeing your tweet because i was surprised you’d be thinking of me haha. coincidentally i’ve been thinking of you recently as well. i feel really bad about kinda dropping off the face of the earth after telling you that i’d always stick around, but in all honesty i haven’t touched any kind of fic in idk how long :(. i’m also like almost completely separated from kpop at this point. i do still occasionally check in, but majority of my attention is elsewhere.
