I just want to say you are a joy to have in the luné space and your ncej stories are so lovely!! Do you like to talk about the ships you like too? If so, what is it about ncej that drew you in? I personally adore their fated relationship (no seriously, were they on a romance drama the whole time?) and how they are two halves of a whole. How ej needed someone like nik to force him out of his comfort zone and just be his silly self. I could talk about them all day I would love to hear what you think 😊
hiiii that’s so sweet to say thank you so much!! as for talking about my fav ships of course i love to :) as far as like, “ship analysis” goes that’s not usually my thing, it’s more about whatever personally appeals to me like the way you talked about them! i think one of the most intriguing parts of them to me is of course how different they are in terms of emotional expression and expression in general. the way jju gets lost in his own head vs nik expressing everything in there immediately. jju’s leader syndrome and nik being the space to be Not That. i’m also fascinated by nik typically being the one that’s more emotionally open but jju being labeled as a crybaby /pos so often. to me, i personally interpret this as them being very much on the same wavelength emotionally, just at different levels of expression. on the fic side i really enjoy exploring nik actually setting boundaries when he’s putting his heart out there TOO much, and pushing jju to try and meet him halfway.
then on a more simple level: they look really good together, their personalities and interests contrast and overlap in really lovely ways, and i do enjoy the level of private they are about their alone time. it’s always exceedingly obvious that they mean a lot to each other and i think it’s nice that they keep some of that for themselves.

hiiii, in these unsure and trying times i just wanted to share some of my thoughts about your gyubrik works!! i read some of them but i didn’t always comment so here we are :D
the off the record series was the first one i came across, and i really really enjoyed ‘songs i couldn’t write’ it might be my favorite! it was somehow comforting to read and u will always catch me reading it again. i love that ricky is his own person and has his own story and background. bc of that it doesn’t just feel like a simple gyubrik fic it makes the characters feel so real and so alive.
walk before i crawl… walk before i crawl. its a trope i had never seen before so it immediately caught my attention, and i loved it as well, i just LOVE when characters are complex and have so many issues and things going on in their life. AHDJISSISIAZI. love their dynamic in this one.
know you well know me better was such a relatable read, those connections were really what helped us go through quarantine. and i love that for gyubrik like hell yeah imagine meeting the love of your life online???

again still pretty unfamiliar with this type of setting and maybe that’s why i liked it so much in the first place. i think that last sentence was the cherry on top.

hiiiii omg this is so nice :((( songs i couldn't write is one of my favorite things i've ever written and she definitely gets buried under my newest stuff so i'm so glad you like her. as for the others, i'm also really really fond of those fics and it means so much to me that they've reached a lot of people, from my perspective. the prompter for walk before i crawl really popped off there for sure. and just UGH this is such a nice ask tysm for taking the time to send it to me it means a lot

hihi! do u plan to keep writing gyubrik in the future or are u transitioning out of it? i love ur works no matter what ship/fandom i was js wondering ^^
hi love <3 right now my plans with gyubrik are my gyubrik fest fic, and then to return to it should feel like glitter. from there i have no definitive plans/ideas for them. in the last year and a half i've written and posted 14 gyubrik fics and i think my word count for them alone came close to 200k. i still love gyubrik but i've definitely gotten to the point where i think i need a break from writing them in order to recharge and have some fresh ideas. so i guess the short answer would be i'll probably take a break with no set end, but if i have any ideas, i'm always happy to return to gyubrik :3
