Followup for stream question: Since you didn't necessarily say no, I'll be selfish and list off a couple you might enjoy:
The first would be GammaChris, a red panda vtuber (he did that one drinking stream with Noel Gigaboots before she came out; highly recommend watching the vod of that if you haven't already). Chris' joy and positivity is fucking infectious, showing genuine curiosity for games he has never played before (his FFVII stream was so fucking great to watch, seeing him experience it for the first time and all the great observations he made inbetween his chuckles and little jokes here and there).
The other would be Shirokazekaede, whom is a lot lower energy than Chris, but has a pleasant, soft voice and usually streams late at night, which is perfect when you want to keep your brain from wandering off somewhere negative. Shiro plays mostly rpg's and the Shiren the Wanderer series and is really good at explaining his thought process when playing them and generally explaining what's going on, which makes him really good for having on in the background while doing something else. He isn't afraid to show emotion either, doing little happy claps when beating a game or major boss and cutely enough, needed to mute his mic during the ending of etrian odyssey 3 (after beating the post game super boss that is) because he got emotional about how so many friends, mutuals, etc. volunteered to be party members for his playthrough that he filled out the entire 30 person roster (even going so far as beating the super boss 7 times, each with a unique party comprised of said people, with no member re-used).
I've actually been meaning to check out GammaChris because of some of the excerpts from that drinking stream. I got reasonably good vibes from him so it's good to see some confirmation on that front. I miiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiight check out Shirokazekaede but honestly with the way the Shiren games slide off my brain I'm not sure how well that'll work out

like... all on top of each other or can we assume that the hot dogs are being arranged in a sort of log cabin formation? because if so...maybe around 12? more if they're frozen

you think silent hill townfall looks any good? imo it looks fine but tbqh they should just give silent hill to ryukishi for everything moving forward now cuz it's clear f has soul in a way none of this other recent stuff will
how is it clear? the only thing we've seen of townfall is a single trailer

mostly just gigaboots and then dokibird and rarely a couple people she streams with like mint. I don't really watch a lot of streams since it wasn't until super recently that I had the attention span to actually watch a stream

might be a weird question but i also feel like you might have a useful/insightful answer. how do you deal with it when people you know are vocally into something by someone you have baggage / history with? cuz like I still have some hangups about that sort of thing to the point I'm like averse to things that even remind me of them even tho I know that's not fair.
so that's... difficult. a couple months ago, I got a DM from somebody who was excited to share with me something they saw and thought of me and I did not have it in me to tell them that said thing was so extremely deeply associated with somebody from my past who I have a traumatic experience with that I basically just could not respond. I did not manage to be able to talk to them until a couple days later they sent another DM that pushed the discussion of that out of view
all this to say I may not have amazing advice here. there's a lot of things that make me uncomfortable because of history/baggage/outright interpersonal trauma and a lot of the time I just sort of grin and bear it and maybe do my best to mute the server for a period of time until I can be sure they're no longer talking about it. in rare cases, I'm able to get ahead of the situation and bring up that it's a problem I have before people talk about it
but otherwise, I just sort of... try and deal, you know? and that's not healthy. I know it's not healthy because there's been times where it's happened enough that I can't handle it anymore and I lash out. not in a way where I'm like "how dare you talk about this, don't you know [THING THEY COULD NOT POSSIBLY KNOW]?" but I get snippy. I try and take over and steer the conversation to something out in a way that is clearly rude and almost dismissive
I guess what I'm saying is that I don't know. I handle this really poorly myself and don't really have any practical advice
