hi dizzyy!
i suddenly thought of a holiday prompt because yesterday i ended up watching olaf’s christmas adventure with my little sibling. i actually recommend it to you too — it’s short but super cute and warm. the whole plot is literally olaf going around arendelle trying to find christmas traditions for anna and elsa, since they didn’t grow up together and never really had any family traditions like everyone else.

and then it hit me… holiday prompt joo & ji.

since ji is catholic, he probably grew up celebrating christmas with his family, right? but in my head, because they studied abroad, he barely goes home anymore. or maybe — hear me out — things with his family aren’t that great to begin with. like, even something as simple as a christmas tradition doesn’t exist because everyone’s busy, and going to church together is already considered “good enough.”

and the part that i can’t stop thinking about is joo, who’s non-religious, inviting ji to somewhere like norway or lapland or any snowy country that looks magical during christmas. and joo literally drags ji around, knocking on people’s doors asking what their family traditions are, and everyone is so warm and welcoming, showing them what they do and how they celebrate.

and from that trip, joo & ji end up creating their own christmas tradition — something just for the two of them. and they promise that the next christmas, and the next one after that, they’ll celebrate their new tradition together. just the two of us kind of vibe.
