arranged marriages could be between rich families... maybe they're CEO's kids and have known each other their whole life but acted like enemies because their families were business rivals...

however the parents already got in some scandals themselves (perhaps sabotaging each other) so they had their (adult) kids get married to show the public eye that their families actually got along?
and maybe each family secretly planned to cancel at the last second or something...😪
