ahh thank you!! i know the first chapter is definitely a lot :( i actually contemplated not adding that first chapter and starting right at where he gets on the bus and flees, but keita is such an important character that really haunts matt throughout the fic and i felt if i did it that way it wouldn’t have conveyed to readers how important their relationship was for his survival. i hope it wasn’t too hard to get through and that you took care of ur mental health while reading, love ❤️ from there on it is much smoother sailing but i’ll still always give warning at the beginning if there is anything that might be hard to read
