Yapfest rant incoming
Why does no one and I mean no one have any sense of media literacy anymore, I've been on twitter recently (first mistake) and I just see person after person either completely misinterpret a scene in a show/movie or blame the ACTOR for how the character was written, not only is that STUPID but it just shows you have no sense of critical analysis or complex thinking patterns in general. The amount of people I've seen in the pitt fandom as an example completely ignore the complexities of each character and the flaws they have because it was supposed to be "woke doctor show" is actually insane to me.
You can dislike a certain aspect of a character while also liking how they're written especially if it's in a realistic aspect because that is LITERALLY WHAT THE PITT IS ABOUT. It's supposed to be a more realistic representation of actual ER doctors than what media portrays and I think it does do a good job at it, BUT NO ONE CAN THINK WITH THEIR BRAIN ANYMORE. EVERYTHING HAS TO BE BLACK AND WHITE ONLY. People lack NUANCE they lack CHARACTER SENSIBILITY they lack the ability to EMPATHIZE. They LACK. AND I AM TIRED! IT'S NOT HARD TO THINK CRITICALLY ABOUT SOMETHING. ESPECIALLY considering how performative and loud that people are about their opinions, they don't even second guess themselves or think "maybe this is not right" LIKE COME ON. Fandom culture is dying and it's because no one can express themselves freely without criticism or a 14 year old "activist" in the replies saying that it's problematic. EVERYONE NEEDS HOBBIES. EVERYONE NEEDS TO CONSIDER NUANCE. EVERYONE NEEDS TO MIND THEIR BUSINESS. I NEED MORE SYNONYMS FOR NUANCE.
Yapfest rant over I hate the Pitt fandom. Pitt fandom kid vs marvel fan kid, you cannot kill yourself
