I finally got around to watching etu season 2 and just wanted to share my little head canon from the episode where he buys that cutting board. I have a friend who used to have a Texas cutting board similar to what wyb had. I remember she told me it was super annoying to clean with all the engraved grooves and over all bumpy shape so she ended up hanging it on a wall even though she doesn’t really care about Texas lol! So when I saw the episode I couldn’t help but giggle a little. It makes me think of the lrlg rumour of wyb buying that silly window cleaner thinking it would be useful but it’s super impractical for the job and now he brings home a cutting board because it looks cool but is super impractical to use and xz teasing him for it. AHHH THIS IS SO ENDEARING TO THINK ABOUT 😭♥️ i was honestly surprised that engraved cutting boards like that exist! it's already a world of trouble for me to wash off the occasional chilli or parsley stain from my plain wooden cutting board that has no engravings/grooves so i can 100% understand your friend LOL
the robot cleaner lrlg is still one of the funniest ones because you can tell he really thought the two-for-one deal was going to be enough to make xz close one eye over the purchase hsdjfhjsfhs
the cutting board scene made me wonder what their house must be like! i'm sure even with xz's careful eye for interior decoration, it must be peppered with little trinkets and oddities that they've both brought home from their travels! thinking back to the time xz says he collects magnets, and the crystal lamp that yb brought back from paris once (???????)
