this is a relatively wild ask but i like it a lot anon.
realistically speaking, poorly; by no means does ryu want a child nor could she ever feasibly handle one, and considering her terrible, complicated relationship with her own mother, i think the idea of being one herself is one of the worst things ryu could imagine.
but she would absolutely do her best to be a better mother than her own ever was, even if there's that unshakable terror spooling in her gut that she'll wind up being just as bad or even worse. maybe having a little something depending on her and giving her a real focus in life would be good for her...?
