I set clear boundaries before the collaboration begins and encourage writers to do a trial period to see whether they feel comfortable and genuinely connect with the character. My collaboration offers are flexible—partners are free to step away at any time, as long as it’s communicated respectfully. I don’t force anyone to do something they’re not comfortable with.
