I might be too young for a lot of things, but everything that comes with Jeongguk, I want. His daughter. Yes, I know the way I acted that night made it seem like I didn’t want her. But honestly, I was stressed with uni, plus Jihoon’s text, plus contempling if I should’ve said it or not to Jeongguk… I had a lot going on, but everything I told him afterward is true. So to answer you, yes, I would marry him. I want it all, wholeheartedly.”

“Oh, that’s a hard question.” Taehyung says after reading the question out loud for the first time. He bites on his lower lip as he thinks of the right way to put what he wants to say before voicing it. “Having a nephew around more or less her age, I always tried to see Aera as my niece. And for quite some time, it worked since she used to call me samchon. But when she gave me that drawing and made me understand just how much a part of her family she saw me, I couldn’t help but think that I could never see her as my niece if her father is the man I love, you know? So I would say we have a really special relationship and I want to keep building it up. No matter how hard and challenging it might be.”

It’s not like they’ve got no time, but if there’s something Jeongguk regrets not doing sooner, is what he says next. “I know we’re not together and we have all the time in this world to do so, but I really, really, really want to take him out on a date. I can’t stress it enough, but that’s what I want to do with him the most.”

Taehyung shifts uncomfortably on his seat when the author hands him the question. He bites on his lower lip as he reads it, and sigh. “No, I didn’t. Because like I said to Jimin, I changed everything so that he couldn’t find me, so of course I had his number and social media accounts blocked. But somehow, I just knew it was him—might be because I’ve felt the same anxiety he put me through all those years ago.”

Taehyung hums, a small smile on his lips. “Yet. We’re not a couple yet. I don’t know about now, to be honest, but I’d like that. Someday in the future. Why not?”
