hi! it’s not a weird thing to ask and i don’t mind answering this either because i chose to rebrand this account and not open a new one. it’s true that i’ve rebranded. yes, i was a xinari. truth be told, i was never an ot8 stan. i was always a solo anxin stan. honestly, i left the fandom space for multiple reasons. to begin with, when i saw the lineup, i wasn’t really sure if i was going to end up liking it because most of my picks didn’t really get in except for my 1pick (anxin) but i did try to at least like them a bit and couldn’t really so i decided to just like at least half the group… then stuff happened and i decided to just be a solo stan. i just didn’t really post the other members on my account and only posted anxin. i heavily disliked their concept and their music and on top of that, i felt really stressed out in the fandom space. ultimately, i decided to leave the fandom space altogether especially since my ult bias of 3 years was redebuting and would inevitably compete for roty with ax’s group. personally, i didn’t think it was worth it for me to stay in a space where i felt miserable in. i loved anxin a lot and i invested so much time and effort voting him into the group but i knew that just loving him wouldn’t get me anywhere because i disliked a lot of things around him—his group, his group’s concept, his music, and his company (this is how i personally feel abt it all so if this gets out of this circle i hope i don’t get attacked for it.) and i felt constantly disrespected in the fandom as well, having to deal with so many people attacking me for multitudes of reasons such as not being ot8, not “caring” for ax enough, not caring for the people who he likes, etc. and i just felt miserable. i’ve since then moved on but i harbor no ill feelings towards him and i will forever have a soft spot for him, just not his group. sorry if this was a really long answer but i wanted to clear up a lot of things in case this question gets asked to me again. summary of all this is basically that i never really fw ald1 as a group and only liked ax and it’s too miserable for me so i left. that’s all. thank you for being polite with asking me too :) while i do refrain from posting anything related to them in my account now, i acknowledge my past and since it still exists in my account, i know some people know about it at the end of the day.
