Can I ask for spoilers about htwmho Novel? I always believed the current Ruby and the original one were different people, but I've seen comments suggesting it's not the case. If so, how do we explain her Korean life memories? Is she maybe a fragment of og Ruby's soul like Penelope's case? I personally prefer this explanation cause I don't like the idea of Iske loving 2 different Rubies just because they look alike but they're essentially different people.
I fear that S&K's incompetence once again strikes because it was just left ambigous but the original Ruby might also be the current Ruby the same way original Iske is current Iske thus the shared dream. In fact, the manhwa seems to start to explore that with season 3 finale (and current Ruby felt "a strange sense of familiarity"), it also might depend on who is the person with the cloak talking to the original Ruby.
We don't have the complete answer but it could be that what we got was: original Ruby timeline -> South Korea timeline -> current timeline.
