What's your opinion on the manhwa "secret lady"?

Divine art, intricate story and interesting court intrigues/politics.

I do think some people are getting into it thinking the romance between the main leads is the main focus of the manhwa when it's not (it does play an important part though) so these readers end up being disappointed.
That's also why these people struggle to keep up with the story! It's lore-heavy, let it be when it comes to the politics to kingdoms or most importantly related to the curse and to magic, meaning it's not necessarily everyone's cup of tea.

Note: I'm not saying manhwas where the romance is the main focus or feature popular tropes are inherently "less" good because that all depends on the writing, you can read my mini thread using MILAOWM as an example: https://x.com/xomyseries/status/2022323987901009951
The same for manhwa whose main focus is on court intrigues can be said, it's not inherently "superior" if the plot is messy and poorly written. I'm saying that people should know what to expect from a manhwa when they start reading something!
A known case in the book community is The Cruel Prince/The Folk of The Air series where people think Jude and Cardan's enemies to lovers is the story's main focus when it's court politics first since it's a fantasy rather than a romantasy.
