Kinda out of the blue but with fashion week coming I keep thinking about Johnathan Anderson's Dior trying to figure out why I'm not fully sold on his vision for the house yet and I think the main issue I have is that so far his womenswear collections (his debut and the sneak peeks of the new collection) seem less inspired than his menswear ones imo. In a way his womenswear collections kinda seem to mirror his menswear? Similarities are understandable since he's in the process of shaping his vision of the brand and unifying it all around. But the fact that you could pair most of his looks from last year in a kind of "fem/masc" versions of the same look (and I saw fashion accounts doing so) was not how I thought things were going to be.. I have mixed feelings, but I'm also aware it's too early to judge, he's still just starting and I hope he smashes all my doubts because even if I'm not sure how to feel yet some of his designs have so much promise and are genuinely beautiful. And his accessories, handbags and shoes are sooooo good too!!

sorry for the extremely late reply but are we sold now😋 after his haute couture collection i feel like there's no doubting him i was obsessed and surprised at his ability to do such great work back to back
