what a hard question, i’m so greedy bc i love imaging 100 different ways for this to go esp depending on the au.. but i love the idea of ivan proposing bc it would mean that he’s become confident enough in his love to ask for more without running away (although hed still. prepare himself for rejection out of habit) and it would be so cute if when he pulls the ring out till just stands stunned. tears running down his face, run to pull out his own ring, hidden in some kitchen cupboard or something. they don’t even say anything they just know :(
