Weird realization that every shotacon game I'm aware of with a decent scale is made with a gay bro or BL fangirl target audience. I don't know a single relevant "for yumejoshi" shotacon game. (Not trying to imply anything, just random musing I had).
Yeah, it's extremely tragic and I wish I knew of literally any example of a otome game for shotacons

We'll probably never be able to truly tell for multiple reasons but do you think/know of anything that was inspired by Boku No Pico?
It's really hard to say for sure, but I do think that it helped shota become more mainstream outside of just otokonoko fetishism. I think it also contributed to a category of otherwise straight men who are into shota. So rather than pointing toward specific examples, I think it's more that if you see shota content in something, Boku no Pico helped lay the groundwork for that in a real way.

if you could wave a magic wand and create whatever dream video game that resides in your head, what would it be like? Just maximum self-serving only made for you energy, it does not need to be something that can sell.
Idea #1: Horror game inspired by Hellstar Remina where you're watching the slow decay of society as some impossible threat approaches and numerous strange phenomena unfold as it approaches Earth. Eventually all leading up to you walking on the surface of the Hellstar-like thing.
Idea #2: Romantic visual novel where you are a girl in college and also a shotacon and you start encountering cute boys and you can romance them. Wouldn't be a passive heroine tho. Would play an active role in progressing the romantic element with the cute boys.
Idea #3: Game that is an art installation and there's only one copy of the game and once it ends, either through reaching a particular conclusion or getting a game over, it deletes itself. Maybe livestream whoever gets to play it. The artistically compelling being how it might encourage rumors or hearsay about the game, as well as encouraging people to make all sorts of speculation about what aspects of the game were never seen in the single solitary playthrough.

My most offensive take is that I can see how people can be attracted to lolis or shotas and not be pedophiles: Because I think lolis and shotas are adorable while I think real life children are fucking disgusting looking. I'm sorry but this is my truth.
I debated responding to this cuz for me it doesn't pass the vibe check. "Children are hideous" and "I hate children" as proof that someone isn't a pedophile doesn't land for me because it feels so performative. Maybe it isn't performative for you, I dunno, that's just how it parses to me.
For me, it's not that I find children ugly, I just don't find them attractive. They're kids. Similarly, I don't hate kids. I do prefer to avoid interacting with them a lot of the time but that's more I just don't know how to interact with children and I'm socially awkward enough as is.
Just be normal about kids.
