since i was little, before playing i’d always sit and say おねがいね … essentially asking for my piano to either please cooperate or please take care of me. 🥹 just a quick way of encouraging my piano to work with me.

i’m going to have to go with chai.. the taste is just so familiar and cozy.

it would imitate the soft ringing of the fūrin we have hanging above our front door; the true embodiment of welcoming home our guests.

it took me a long while to find my own way with my keys, i was constantly covering other melodies. and, of course, that’s part of learning, but there’s a certain stability you feel when finding your own melody. i can’t remember if this was my very first, but one of the first was a sweet melody that reminded me of how it feels to live in kamakura — i’ll have to revisit it.

i can’t see myself, in reality or dreamworld, wanting to be somewhere the sea can’t find me. although, i do have dreams of city life on occasion. i don’t think i fit the city girl lifestyle, though.

the violin is beautiful, i’ve always wished to play. string instruments in general.. sometimes i find myself wishing.

i don’t think i can properly wake up if i’m not getting smothered in the face by yurim. 😣 i’d waking up thinking the world imploded if i wasn’t greeted with a pillow to the face.

experiences will always shape my music, relationships are no exception. i’d have no muse to do with if i didn’t take from the things around me.

today? :3 i try to live as openly and freely as possible, i’ll never hold back if possible.

goodness, i think she’d be confused at first and ask if everything was real.. if it was all ours. i didn’t have the craziest aspirations when i was a little girl, i just knew i wanted to be happy. i think that’s what she would say — she’d ask me if i’m happy (which the answer is yes).
