what is your research process when it comes to researching for your fics!
Rather than thinking "I want to write about this topic", I just became invested in that topic first and went down the hyperfixation rabbit hole for a long time until I am deep in the trenches. Then I think "maybe if i put soogyu here it would be pretty cool". Then as I'm writing if I encountered something I was not sure, I googled. It also helped that I have access to academic database so I can look up some journal articles and books if needed, and fill in the gaps.
So to answer your question I don't have a standard research progress. I just became deeply invested enough that I write. For example, the User's Guide to Handling Your Jungler. I didn't think that I wanted to write a soogyu esport fic and begun right away. It was like this: two years ago I read an esport danmei and became interested. Then I talked to my friends who play league and i made an account and played and became invested in the game. Then i watched pro matches and joined the esport fandoms so I had an idea how fandoms and LCK work. I have favourite teams, I know how players interact, I know draft rules. I also watch a lot of commentary of different casters. Like I watch these videos when I have dinner instead of netflix bc I genuinely found them interesting. Then I started writing bits and pieces. A year later I accumulated enough to form a fic structure it's when I start to write. Similar to the previous fics. Except I'm not a doctor nor am I an investigators. The doctor and detectives are mostly adapted from shows and I became so invested i watch youtube videos and read books and articles on them. So rather than research its indulgence 😂

my question about omegaverse babies wasn’t exactly about genitals it was more about omegas having a womb like are they born with it or do they develop it after presenting

I think they develop later? In my mind all humans are born with wombs and all that stuffs they just retrograte (turns to alpha). I got this idea from another danmei though! I don't really accept follower request bc I'm kinda bad at being percieved 😅 and no worries i like the questions!! Sometimes i also 'clean up' my followers list too and it has nothing to do with any of my followers i'm just very bad w/ socials 😅

3-i don’t remember if you ever wrote about this but what do you think recessive alpha or omega should be like? I have read multiple fics with recessive alphas and omegas but most of it feels like it’s just a beta with a hint of scent
4-where is the places you think should have scent gland other than the nape of the neck
5-i remember you having something about removing scent gland but I couldn’t find it, does removing it make the person a beta? Or do they still alpha or omega just without strong scent?
3 - I haven't really thought about it but that's an interesting concept. I think it could be a spectrum that someone possess both alpha/omega pheromones (like intersex?). I wouldn't think of it as recessive though? Maybe unconventional pheromonal levels?
I honestly don't think of any other place besides the nape 😅
I think you might have come across this in Dr. Choi Said He Wants A Baby. And honestly, I think it doesn't really matter the secondary gender at that point if the person specifically have it removed. Maybe they'd best identify as a beta? But for medical purpose I think it would be in their record as alpha but with the glands removed and any treatments or medical intervention will be tailored to their condition. Socially, however, I think it doesn't matter to them.

I don’t know if you actually answer or even see this but i have few questions about your take on omegaverse
1-do you ever plan on doing werewolves omegaverse? Like I feel you would do so great writing something like that with the whole hierarchy, pack, leader, healer, moon goddess and all that
2-can you know the sub gender of the baby before they present? Like the anatomy you describe sometimes I feel like yeah it would be obvious if they baby is alpha, omega or beta

For some reason I never really associate werewolf with omegaverse 😅 I have less interest in omegaverse with werewolf than omegaverse + modern society/modern professions... Though I do have an on-going werewolf fic if you'd like to check it out :3
I have come to think that alpha, beta, and omega would only be developed later, and it's more pheromones/glands than actual gentials. In fact, I started to careless about genitals in my world building these days so I think it would be until later that it can be tested (regarding secondary sex). But that's just my world 😅
