i mean ya in regards of ur actions leading to the happenings but i dont like to think about what i did wrong to deserve xyz idk and sometimes things happen for no reason no matter what u do So its a mixed answer between yes and no

i believe everything, even brutally unfavorable events, serve a purpose in some way that you may not see immediately yeah. but personally, i like to believe some things don't have a deep complex reason at all for the sake of my sanity, they just happened. or just that i don't bother thinking about and figuring out the reason anymore. haven’t really indulged much in it, but living by the concept of absurdism freed me from my bitterness a bit 🎉

If you do X, then Y would happen, regardless if it's good or bad. If there's a bad X, then there's a reason for a bad Y.

I kind of live my entire life (decisions, actions, etc.) based on cause and effect so if something good or bad happens from a decision I make then I tend to already know it's because of the thing I've done.

Sometimes? I tend to obsess over this idea when making nonsensical connections in schizophrenic episodes. Other than that though, I don’t generally hold that belief. I personally think things just happen and they need to be adapted to but I don’t think there’s always a reason for those things happening. I think you just have to go with the flow and handle things as they come

not really… i think that everything that happens in the world (and universe for that matter) is the result of random chance. theres a small percent for anything to happen, like how there was a small chance for our planet to have life and the even smaller chance that the inhabitants would gain intelligence
