To my knowledge, there isn't any Russian, or even more broadly, Slavic heritage in my family history. My theming is heavily inspired by S.T.A.L.K.E.R. as that was a game I greatly enjoyed during a formative period in my life. As a reminder, S.T.A.L.K.E.R. is a Ukrainian series, taking place in Ukraine. Hence why the propaganda poster on the wall of the bunker says 'щур' instead of 'крыса'.
