this is actually a great question i would love to know the answer to as well...its been a few times now that bej has said that when he looks like he's thinking/is quiet, he's actually not thinking about anything, which fucks me up so much but i pretend i do not see❤️ i do think he has something of that tragic aura you mentioned! his eyes look sad to me sometimes when he looks serious idk if this is just me or if you also think so.. to me, there's something so repressed about the way he exists at times, like when he catches himself smiling too hard or making a bigger expression and feels the need to cover his mouth or fight it back for some reason (which, once he has it on his face, he's really bad at supressing😭). Also when he hesitates in his moves and you can clearly see he was about to touch someone but decided not to...not to mention how he looks at ncls like he's missing him when he's literally next to him (and not looking back at bej, very important) besides, i do think being the leader of a group where he had to learn the language from the basics really helped shape his rpf persona into one that's very easy to make suffer in lots of scenarios❤️ poor guy im sorry bej you're not leaving tortureland anytime soon</3 ty so much for the kind words anon, love you:)
