as predictable as it might seem, i think they suit enemies to lovers the most. like the stages of it are so taejun coded: 1) they're individually perfect and this perfection is so Annoying (which creates tension). 2) this perfection must be defeated (aka one desperately wants to be better than the other no matter what setting they're in). 3) they realise it's impossible to become better than the enemy, so they must put the enemy down. 4) tension turns into attraction and admiration but they're so low-key about it bc they're not losers right? they wouldn't admit their sworn enemy is actually just a cool dude :p

e2l might be just my favourite trope in general, i just wish there was a pairing whose "enemies" part of the relationship was more than just saying "i hate u ugh" more than once🙄 i actually wanted to write a taejun fic with some real moral issues and huge discomfort the characters need to deal with in order to overcome their hate towards each other while it being still kinda lighthearted and fun read # to be continued (i might never write it)
