- Mr. Graves: I'm just going to answer this in order from most terrible to least terrible. Had Scarlet died before him he wouldn't rlly do what ppl would be under the assumption of what he would do. He would have buried her himself and stayed by that grave. For him the "they only care when your dead" is entirely true, she would be twisted into a perfect, flawless saint in his mind. he wouldnt acknowledge his past abuse, he would view their marriage as something where he was the perfect protector. his grievance always results in moving on. The next person who reminds him of Scarlet he would stay "devoted" to in his own, terrible way. Just as he did for her about Natalya.
- Kristopher: his obsession with Natalie was endless. Their friendship led him to believe they were destined to be together. To bring them closer then Natalie would ever accept, he would eat her corpse if he found her body.
- Natalie: when upset about deaths she acts rather violently. had Ari died in front of her, she would take a moment and then simply dispose of Ari's body. "Picking up her mess". her primary reaction would be annoyance or anger that a useful tool is no longer available. she truly views Ari as a extension of herself, she would feel physical symptoms of distress. nausea, restlessness, and a non stop feeling of sickness. without fully understanding she's grieving. She would not stop drinking and her payment rules would slowly turn much more crueler.
- Maveth: For if Smokey died it would depend on HOW he died. Had it been murder they would have hunted down the killer and tortured them psychologically. Maybe even to death, making them experience the most painful death. If it were his illness or accident or anything like that, they would attempt to bring him back to life, preserving his corpse until they figured out to do so. Because of this, they'd drop dead for using the Corbeau book too often as a Campbell.
