Hellooooooo, do you have any interesting headcanons or tropes for minsung. Or fav fic recs that you really like where the author "got" them.... Curious how you view them

oh god anon, you’d think that because i spend about 99.999999% of my brain on these boys i’d have a better answer re: headcanon. the truth is, since i’m writing them so often, most of it gets poured straight into fic—so that’s the best place to see how i read them, individually and together.

minho: competent, curious, eccentric, loyal, nonjudgmental, focused, caring, disciplined, hardworking, humble. full of contradictions: cold face, warm core. playful, but a grinder. he wants you to read him as mysterious when the answer to most of his behavior is simply that he pays attention. he notices patterns, remembers the boring details, and acts like it’s nothing. a big, big heart he tries to hide.

jisung: witty, funny, passionate, pensive, loud, silly, shy, confident, curious, sensitive, individualistic; an artist. incredibly clever, swaggy (lol), charismatic—and also the world’s biggest loser. god, i love him. where minho is uncomfortable being truly seen, jisung craves it. he wants attention without translation: not to be decoded, just recognized. he performs until it turns real, and when it’s real he’s dazzling.

together: playful, comfortable, reassuring, they just get each other, lock and key. minho needs a gaze that won’t pry; jisung needs a gaze that won’t look away. they meet in the middle and call it comfort. i think they click so well they'd struggle with genuine conflict that needs, like. you know...a conversation.

as for fic, this one might have my favorite dynamic: loser=lover by taotu (https://archiveofourown.org/works/36982708)
