OOOO from the way i see it, it really comes down to his mood and the timing. he seems more inclined to being clingy when he's at the height of his emotions like when he's really happy/excited/nervous/needs comfort e.g. that clip where he talked about wanting a sincere hug. and THE wonxin backhug pics still feel so surreal to me he's probably more affectionate off cam. to me it seems like physical touch is an intentional thing for him rather than smth he just does casually.
