Seeing how you treat people around you and how you interact with them, I just know too well that your love is fulfilled by your family and friends since you’re a little (maaf kalau sotoy). But Kathy, seriously, kadang aku mikir kok bisa kamu giving other people that big and same amount of love, may I know the reason or how you sees life?

this is so sweet of you 🥹

first of all, i just want to say thank you. truly. thank you for seeing me that way, and thank you for seeing life so beautifully that you notice the little ways other people choose to live theirs. i think that’s a beautiful gift to have.

to answer your question—yes. i was fortunate enough to grow up in a warm home. arguments were rare, and even when they happened, there was never any shouting. instead, we would sit down and have calm, heartfelt conversations. my siblings and i were also raised to openly say “i love you” and express our appreciation for one another, for our parents, and for our family. looking back, i think those little things shaped me into the person i am today.

i’ve always tried to see the good in people, which can be a blessing and a curse at the same time. sometimes it means i end up believing appearances or trusting people who aren’t as genuine as they seem. but even then, i still choose to see the beauty in people whenever i can.

and i don’t think it’s only about how your family treats you. of course, that kind of love is a privilege that i’m endlessly grateful for, but i also believe that having a kind heart is a choice. if you choose kindness, if you choose to love people and do good whenever you can, i truly believe it always finds its way back to you—multiplied. ♡
