Ah, I see. I’d love to read your writings in the future. May I be honest? In my last message, I wanted to say that I mostly read self help books, but I didn’t want to sound too pretentious. So I’m glad that you enjoy reading them as well. I’ve heard of Ikigai before, but I haven’t got around to reading it. I’ll put it on my to-do list for sure. My latest reads are Normal People and If This Is a Man. Have you heard of either?
I see. As a teenager, I used to read Pride and Prejudice and Anne with an E, though out of school requirement. I enjoyed them very much though. Which book of the Bridgerton series are you reading currently?

I do agree that being stubborn comes with pros and cons alike. I love the process of forming a thought; an opinion or belief; and sticking by it. A foundation in my very own building of mind, so to speak. But of course, this has made me quite a headstrong man. I try my best to mature my perspective and move away from rigid thinking, that’s for sure, but it definitely takes some time to undo my beliefs and admit that I too can be wrong

True, I also listen to lots of genres. By the way, I gave Movie a listen yesterday, and the intro gave me quite a shock! A pleasant one. I also enjoy listening to Daniel Caesar, and though I’m not well acquainted with Men I Trust, I know this lyric of theirs; ‘show me how your hands are cold’

i have to admit, i’m enjoying this more than i expected!
our conversations somehow remind me of what exchanging letters must have felt like before phones existed.. long messages, talking about so many different things at once, then waiting for the next reply. i think there’s something very charming about that. :>
so yes, i suppose three messages a day sounds like a fair agreement! though i secretly hope that one day we won’t have to count anymore—we’ll simply talk whenever we feel like it
and oooh, regarding my writing, i do have a few pieces on the account you found, although i wouldn’t call them my best work! i used to write much more when i was still in school. i even printed a small collection of my writings for myself and a few friends to keep. maybe someday, when the time feels right, i’ll let you read some of them. :>

i absolutely adore pride and prejudice, by the way. i’ve rewatched the film more times than i can count, so i suppose you can already tell what kind of stories i’m drawn to? ehee. as for bridgerton, i’m currently reading ‘an offer from a gentleman.’ i really like how benedict and sophie’s story feels inspired by cinderella.
anyway, i wasn’t a theatre kid, but i often helped write scripts for our school’s theatre performances. maybe that’s why i’ve always loved storytelling. and yes, i also have a soft spot for ballet and other performing arts.
i’m looking forward to talking more personally one day. i have a feeling we’d end up discussing books, quotations, theatre, art, and probably many other things! and i also agree with what you said about being stubborn. i think it’s one of those qualities that can be both a strength and a weakness. i’m still learning when to hold on to my beliefs and when to let them go.
