your tweet about the japanese analysis is honestly full of backhanded compliments the thing is i genuinely don’t think you even realize it because i get the feeling your intentions were good
but throughout the whole thread you keep saying something negative about him and then adding something in parentheses that you probably think balances it out it doesn’t it just comes across as “he’s bad but…” over and over again
a lot of what you wrote basically boils down to calling him unintelligent or incapable just dressed up as “analysis” whether you meant it that way or not that’s how it reads
and even if what you’re saying were true sometimes it just doesn’t need to be said publicly have you stopped to think about how you’d feel if someone wrote something like that about you do you really think you’d be okay with it because if nicholas ever reads that thread i honestly think it’d destroy his confidence
i think you’re so focused on analyzing him that you don’t realize how harsh and demeaning some of your wording actually gis
id like to know where in my response rings as me calling him “unintelligent”, “incapable”, “bad”, as well as where i continued to knock him down with negativity. ive genuinely read through my response over and over and i personally fail to see how you came to your conclusion. so if we want to have this conversation please just quote upfront what they are and we can talk about it
i just really dont know how mentioning any habits or quirks or pointing out reasons for prominence says anything about his intellect or takes a jab at his capabilities?
