oh, that's an interesting question. i will limit myself to talking about just minsung otherwise this will turn into an essay lmao in terms of how i'd personally write this, i feel like minho would have his own set of principles to live by, and he wouldn't break them bc that would feel as though he were betraying himself. that said, there would probably be no intersection between his personal moral values and the generally accepted social norms and moral standards, so that's neither here nor there. who needs kings and gods and law anyway.

jisung on the other hand would be very aware that his actions would be considered wrong/immoral/illegal yet imo he would still put love above all else and do what he felt was necessary. essentially, the process would be different but the end result would be the same.

in general, i love fic that lets the characters be unapologetically messy and imperfect and morally grey 💕
