because of bangtan, actually! like no joke. i got into bangtan and astrology the same year (2017) and only a few months apart, i wanna say? like i became a full-fledged army in july-ish and then got into astrology in i think september......or maybe october.

but yes, the link between them is that there was this one astrology account on tumblr that was entirely focused on bangtan and i'd stumbled upon it one day and started reading through it. was absolutely Flummoxed, Flabbergasted, Gooped and Gagged and Gathered, at everything i was seeing. because i knew about horoscopes, sure. i knew i was a leo. but then i saw all these other terms and it was like. WHAT. what's a moon. what on earth is a RISING. what the fuck are NODES. beyond that WHAT THE FUCK ARE ASPECTS!!!!!! WHAT ARE THESE LINES!!!!!! CONJUNCTION???? TRINE???? SQUARE???? WHAT LANGUAGE IS THIS.

i just vividly remember being so Fascinated by it. it was that same blog that lead me to my first astrological resources (cafeastrology and astrodienst) and i just never looked back. started practicing how to read charts a week after, using my own and school friends' and fictional characters', and my scholarship has continued in perpetuity until now.

what's funny really is that getting into astrology at 16 was what absolutely lead me down the path to occultism in general. so like, it's absolutely valid to say that stanning bangtan made me a witch. the things you love can further open you up to more things you'll learn to love, is what i'm saying.
