Would you rather be with someone who challenges you but sometimes hurts you, or someone who always comforts you but never pushes you to grow?
I’d probably choose the one who challenges me, even if it stings sometimes. Comfort feels safe, but if I never grow, I might end up resenting it. At least with someone who pushes me, I know they believe I can be more than I am now. Of course, I’d hope they’d learn to challenge me with kindness… because I don’t want love that only hurts either…
