Do you feel this week’s Lara was a major signpost that the true love Lara has to find is love and acceptance of herself? There was so much emphasis on finding beauty in your own way of seeing things and then there’s Leo who’s female presenting while being officially referred to as Luca’s brother + uses “boku” who seems quite comfortable as themselves with the show presenting them as normally cute
It could be that or like people said, about finding true love in humanity itself. I'm still very open to the romantic kind of true love but so far i really love how accepting everyone is, whether it's for Luca's little brother expressing himself however he wants, or the healthy dynamic within Mari's family. But they still keep some family angst through Lara's family which is still deeply rooted in love since Lisa doesn't hate Lara and definitely cares so much for her. It's so refreshing to see dynamics that aren't overly angst or the classic kinds that we tend to see in other animes, like Mari's family is healthy but not the kind where everyone is like "OMG WE LOVE EVERYONE!! FAMILY LOVE YAYY" but more realistically healthy
I deviated my point but no matter what the true love Lara has to find ends up being, I wouldn't mind anything as I'm already happy at how they describe all the relationships she has around her
