Do you ever wonder how the Earth moves in a circle, yet we don’t roll around with it?

Gravity? But in my head it’s only moving in circle and not actually rolling, that’s why, you get what I mean? But also if I think about it again that also doesn’t make sense because if so, there wouldn’t be day and night… right?
