1. i always worry about the public reaction actually 😭 I'm always terrified that no one is going to like it, people are going to think I'm a horrible author and all that but the thing is I'm my own worst critic. it doesn't matter if people hate it, because at the end of day I'm writing for myself.

the tropes I write are not everyone's cup of tea and that's okay!!!! but I enjoy them a lotttt and writing them makes me happy so I just kind of do it.

1. i get my inspiration from literally everywhere omg. i was reading julius caesar and I thought hmm can I bmjnify it fjjsjsjs (which obvs I cant but it's a fun exercise)

of golden birds I wrote because I researched this one mughal emperor extensively for an internship and I got so obsessed with the dynamic that I had to write it. the music and playlist helped me get the tone of the characters right when I wasn't sure where I was going. for setting sun, there's this one show I used to watch as a child and they had an insane bath scene, when I was plotting setting sun in its very original draft, I realised that I needed to incorporate that one bath scene and the rest of the story followed.

1. my writing and editing process is all over the place 😭😭 I'm a procrastinator through and through so I tend to write updates, fics or whatever in the span of a day or two, a week if the tone isn't right. i edit as I go along, I revisit my writing a lot and until a scene is absolutely perfect I don't stop working on it. usually it doesn't take me that long? i rewrite whatever doesn't sound good to me actually. after that for grammar errors and spelling errors I leave it to my lovely lovely friends or a grammar checker. i read it all once before I upload it so I also make any changes if needed at that moment.
