Hmm I think my biggest theory is that from finding psyche, the ones with their eyes closed (Ryo Yuushi Sion) are still stuck in the dream, and the ones with their eyes open have long since woken up. I wonder if it’s like a continuation of WISH or hello mellow as well where the cupids are now back in heaven after failing their mission, and stuck in this dream time loop? In this sense, I really think Ryo Yuushi Sion represent Anteros, and that Anteros here is a stand-in for being stuck in the dream/nightmare loop, being unable to move on and make peace with things. This kinda ties in with baby blue and its theme of leaving one’s youth behind too: Ryo was the only one that didn’t put anything in the boat, which makes me think that maybe he’s selfishly holding on/still stuck in this loop!
