ok so ik everyone is very excited and happy about marks new label and now they’re hoping that the last part of the rumours that the chinese friend said was that mark would take away all of dream and take him under his wing but unfortunately i do not think that will happen :(
the members wouldn’t have cried as much during encore if that was the case i believe. i do think that marks label is solely for him and he isn’t planning on taking anyone under his wing as he didn’t make this company to flourish new artists but rather a way for him to freely execute his own career and that’s not a bad thing as many idols have been doing the same! im not sure what will happen in july for haechans contract and in aug for the rest of dream but i do believe there will be people leaving sm and either making their own label or joining another which is a small one that focuses on 1 artist probs. they leave sm and will probs be part of nct still but i am still very scared sm will shelve dream and we won’t get much group activities like maybe once every 3 years we get a cb and i rly rlly don’t want that… it’s unfortunate that they debuted under such a terrible company. i do think we should prepare ourselves for anything occurring in the next few months… im hoping there’ll be at least 10th year anniv with all the members but it just constantly looks bleak with the way sm is moving. their quarterly plans having nothing abt dream is making me very wary as well but then again they didn’t even add other units supposed schedules so it’s confusing. i wish they did add in a cb tho so at least we have confirmation from the company and if they were to go back on their word, there would be proof of dream meaning to have a cb.
ive been here for 8 years now and it rlly is frustrating seeing sm treat dream like this from the start. they were never given the same grace that other groups under sm received. when people call dream the fav unit I just laugh bc is favouritism being cast aside for the first 5 years of ur career? is favouritism not allowing any of the members to have their own solo schedules and further their succession. sm never cashed in on their viral moments either like sm rlly dgaf abt dream only the amount of money they bring in. Im grateful for dreams loyal fandom tho however i think if we weren’t as big it would be a totally diff situation for dream. i went off topic but the main thing is that i do not think dream will be going to marks company and i dont think the last part of what that Chinese friend is true unfortunately.

imo marks label will just be for him. Idt he has any plans of taking anyone else under his own company… if dreamies were to leave sm they would either make their own label too or join another company. but then again w them leaving or not leaving sm is something up to them. i never said anything abt them joining marks company so u need to take this up w the people who were saying that instead ✌️

i think what this person means is how everyone wishing for the dream members to give up everything to follow mark is not listening to what the members have said and just selfishly projecting their desires above everything, it’s a bit sad to wish for the members to leave when they won’t be able to perform any dream song even tho they keep reassuring us that they’ll move forward. this fandom should be more grateful in general imo
im not sure abt leaving the group but id still want them to leave sm ngl… but I don’t see how group activities would continue if they were all to leave yk so I get their worries. it’s a shame they’re under a company like sm too sigh. if im being honest ik a lot of ppl r wishing for dream to leave sm and join his company but I have a lot of blunt opinions abt it that I am not sharing cause I don’t wanna rain on anyone’s parade

Current kdreamzens are a bunch of losers. They are not even 10% of the fandom they used to be and they still have the audacity to act all almighty to the members as if they do SHIT for them. Like Stfu, maybe if you had streamed the last three Dream cbs and not let them fail on kcharts we would take you a little bit seriously. Just annoying AND useless. I had respect for them in 2019-2023 but ever since that 2024 boycott they are kinda the worst

dreamzens have never cared about members who aren't mark lmao. 6 dream members have spent 10 years at SM with barely any solo promotion, always prioritizing the group over individuality, while 1 member had every solo opportunity he could. Now that member has left the group, and you expect all the others to give up the group name, the music, the rights, and live in that member's shadow, even though they don't yet have enough solo recognition to survive in the industry.

i feel like most of the kdreamzen believe they can move like 2019 6dream... i think they are severely underestimating the opportunistic mentality of sm dream is not young anymore they are not getting team activity like 2019 sm has moved on they will get some cash grab comeback with barely any promotion or they will get solo stuff. a lot of them is blaming mark for no team activity but mk left another unit too but they have been preparing for an album since last year like i really don't get why they are mad
yeah… sm’s stupid cycle of leaving their old groups behind to focus on newer ones really isn’t the best tactical strategy they’ve been using… sm has always been against dream lol it’s no surprise that we’re barely gonna get team activity when we would barely get stuff anyways in comparison to their peers! sm is aware of dreams large loyal fandom so they’ll do cash grabs here and there but they’re not properly investing in dreams career like other companies r doing with their groups.. the amount of times dream has gone viral or their songs have and sm did not move an inch to cash in on it is insane but it was expected. and with the smtr boys debuting soon they’ll just not even focus on dream anymore esp now that they’re getting rid of the centres right? like im hearing that ppl r seeing start from other centres moving to work on other groups… also the fact that everyone under sm is having a company and has group schedules on the upcoming plans apart from dream is sooo 😭😭😭
dream kept the lights on in that company for years and seeing their own company treat them like this is genuinely so hard to see… don’t get me started on how they’ve been producing less albums on their cb days leading to fans having to travel to multiple stores to try n buy copies… they love to send them to 100 fansigns in a month but won’t actually move their ass to help their careers. honestly as a fan it’s rlly frustrating to see bc dream has it all in terms of a kpop group and knowing I can’t do anything to help them is so hard

It's just so upsetting to know that we can't do much to make this fandom peaceful for the artists we love. The selfishness and entitlement disguised into love and care sometimes makes me want to step out of kpop
i know what u mean friend :/ I think fandom culture as a whole has gotten a lot worse post covid before it wasn’t so bad but now it’s just constant arguments we’re having when this should be a safe space where we can easily talk abt the same interest we have rather than having to deal with seeing negative stuff all the time 😭 like it’s a hobby at the end of the day something we do for fun I don’t wanna be seeing negative stuff all the time or it will make people just distance themselves from it

kdreamzens resentment towards mk just seems so weird to me... like i get being upset but i just don't know what they want from him... the alternative of leaving would have been staying with sm and to be honest a dreamzen before anyone should know how that would be the worst decision ever? like the only schedule dream has gotten since 2024 is china fansigns and a fanmeeting and two concerts... dream can't even get their old concept back because they have a new unit with their comcept they wanna push like 😭
oh they’re still angry at him leaving… they’re genuinely pretending like he never existed and was never part of dream for the last 10 years which is quite insane to me… dk why they’re not happy bc they complain a lot about the company too yet they want them to stay w sm? yeah it’s just now we r finally getting solo schedules of the members and it took 10 years!!! as a group their main activity the past 2/3 years was tours and those STUPID FANSIGNS… sm is going to hell for scheduling 100 fansigns for them bc they could’ve been doing something more productive rather than seeing the same fans again and answering same stupid questions… i don’t get them and i don’t plan on understanding them either their fan culture is diff
