Where will the zine be shipped from? Will you consider having mods from each continent so people can have easier access to purchase a physical copy?
Hello! All shipping will be done from the USA. While we are unable to have mods from each continent for shipping purposes, we will be offering international shipping as an option. However, as an alternative, we are looking into the possibility of accepting Group Orders (GOs) from experienced GO managers who are interested in hosting a GO for their country/continent.

How many contributors (of each type) are you aiming to have?
We are estimating these amounts as the total count for each contributor role, but take note that these numbers are still very rough and undetermined at this time. Once a full Mod team has been gathered, the final updated amount will be published to our Info Doc before contributor applications open!

Merch artists: 3-5
Writers: 5-7
Spot artists: 5-7

I'm considering applying for a few mod roles, but because of my schedule, I think I can only do one at a time. Could you let us know which mod roles you're still needing the most of?
Hi! Glad to hear your interest in applying! We especially are in need of Finance & Production Mods, as well as Shipping Mods. We would also welcome more Formatting Mod applicants.
In the case that Mod applicants would like to apply for more than one role but accept only one position, our forms has a section for suggestions where you can let us know about this request!

Would moderators be able to also contribute to the zine?
To maintain fairness, moderators who want to contribute to the zine will be required to go through the application process just as any other contributor applicant would! Our grading process will be done blind to ensure a lack of bias among the Mods.

do the co-head mods have any prior mod experience? i only see contributor experience listed on the carrd
Although the Co-Heads have only ever been contributors for zines, we're making sure recruited Mods are reliable, proficient, and experienced to minimise any bumps along the road 🌟 Additionally, we have real-life experience with organisational work, and are diligently studying up on zine modding to make up for it!

Sorry for the question but will contributors get a free Zine or will we have to pay as well?
Hello, no worries!
As per our FAQ:
"All contributors will be guaranteed a free digital zine bundle as compensation. If budget allows, contributors may receive a full physical bundle of the zine (shipping included)."
In the very case that budget proves insufficient to compensate contributors with a full physical bundle, contributors will still given the opportunity to purchase the zine and merch items at production price. We are planning multiple compensation tiers so we can still to the best of our abilities compensate contributors for their hard work. Of that may include: Physical zine only coverage, physical bundle + shipping coverage, shipping only coverage, etc.

Hello! As per our General Guidelines:
Contributors should submit their best works, in the style that they want to portray in the zine. YOI samples are not required, but they are heavily encouraged!
