Hey, so I sent my writer application, but I oversaw in the of "which ships and groups would you like to write about" the group part, so I didn't add any platonic groups I would love to write about. But I did talk about them in the section of possible pitches and ideas. Is that okay or not that good because it lacks the overview mods need? Can I send in my platonic groups or is it too late?

Hello! I noticed that you are potentially looking for cosplayers for the zine and I've done a number of yoi looks in the past. I was wondering if I would be submitting something I've made in the past or if I would need to make something completely new for the zine? Thanks!
Hiya! Submitting previous cosplay photos is more than welcome for the application. While we would not ask you to create new looks from scratch for the zine, we do expect your idea for the zine itself be new and not previously published.

I'm going to apply as an alt artist, if accepted, are we doing a full page or can we apply for spot artist?
Im applying for embroidery but i don't think what I'm making would fill a whole page. Could we share a page with cosplay photos or other alt artist pics?
Hey! Alternative contributors will be given up to two (2) pages to showcase their work in the zine. If you don't think your planned work alone will fill up an entire page, the Mod team would love to help with brainstorming ideas to add more onto your page! Some examples would be: including text written by you about the piece or inserting a digital background to further highlight the piece.

Where will the zine be shipped from? Will you consider having mods from each continent so people can have easier access to purchase a physical copy?
Hello! All shipping will be done from the USA. While we are unable to have mods from each continent for shipping purposes, we will be offering international shipping as an option. However, as an alternative, we are looking into the possibility of accepting Group Orders (GOs) from experienced GO managers who are interested in hosting a GO for their country/continent.

How many contributors (of each type) are you aiming to have?
We are estimating these amounts as the total count for each contributor role, but take note that these numbers are still very rough and undetermined at this time. Once a full Mod team has been gathered, the final updated amount will be published to our Info Doc before contributor applications open!
Page artists: 15-20
Merch artists: 3-5
Writers: 5-7
Spot artists: 5-7
Alternative contributors: 2-4

I'm considering applying for a few mod roles, but because of my schedule, I think I can only do one at a time. Could you let us know which mod roles you're still needing the most of?
Hi! Glad to hear your interest in applying! We especially are in need of Finance & Production Mods, as well as Shipping Mods. We would also welcome more Formatting Mod applicants.
In the case that Mod applicants would like to apply for more than one role but accept only one position, our forms has a section for suggestions where you can let us know about this request!

Would moderators be able to also contribute to the zine?
To maintain fairness, moderators who want to contribute to the zine will be required to go through the application process just as any other contributor applicant would! Our grading process will be done blind to ensure a lack of bias among the Mods.

do the co-head mods have any prior mod experience? i only see contributor experience listed on the carrd
Although the Co-Heads have only ever been contributors for zines, we're making sure recruited Mods are reliable, proficient, and experienced to minimise any bumps along the road 🌟 Additionally, we have real-life experience with organisational work, and are diligently studying up on zine modding to make up for it!
