be a hater for me. worst part about streaming
It sucks when the internet is being spotty, audio is screwed up, this and that - that's basic, that's easy.
I'm lucky in that I've really enjoyed most of my time doing this nonsense and haven't really experienced much burnout or fatigue - I manage it well enough, all things considered, and see myself ready to keep on going for .. a while! Luckier still that people stick around for whatever I check out, as the quality and genre of whatever I'm doing can shift pretty drastically around.
Working a crowd. Staying in conversation with it, managing the flow, throwing curveballs, engaging .. it's fun .. mostly .. it's never quite felt impossible, but it is certainly daunting some nights. I don't even really mind 'backseating', to a degree, although sometimes it can be a bit annoying to be coached on something I wasn't looking to be coached on or optimize for. Clowning on me for not getting a puzzle right away, whatever.
I don't really have anything too incendiary to post here, my apologies ... this is all pretty rote, well-accepted stuff, you know? It can be uncomfortable when someone steps over a line or boundary to overshare. But that's true of a lot of things. It sucks when people think I'm unapproachable, tell me I'm intimidating, etc etc. But that's true of everything.
The worst part about streaming is that ... I can't do this for a living!! Ha ha haaaa. Ha... ha..... god I'm alone ..........
