In reality, Lya's ideal type reguards what's in the possible love interest's heart. What really anchored Lya to Lucifer wasn't solely his looks. It was the realization that underneath the pride facade he constantly put up, there was a fallen angel that had such deep loyalty and family values that he fought and fell for his family. It's also the fact that Lucifer had tried to get his brothers to not follow him so they wouldn't suffer with him. He was going to fight alone. Lya hates prideful people, people that are arrogant and think they are better than others...but she never really saw that in Lucifer. Which is funny since he is the avatar of pride...his pride is different though. His pride is centered in his family, not just his status and reputation.

So if I had to really answer this...Lya's ideal type is someone with this kind of selfless love for their loved ones. Someone that has depth to their character. Basically someone that isn't made of plastic, isn't shallow, is smart, sophisticated...and knows how to love deeply like she does. Lya is humble and loves her friends and family. Her partner should also. 🩷

🛑 People that ask her for a bite of her food or try to steal a bite after she had asked them if they were hungry/if they wanted anything and they said "no."

Lya LOVES food. She is a BIG eater. She also loves feeding people. If Lya offers you food and you don't take it because you say you're not hungry, but then ask for a bite, she will give you the biggest lecture of your life and you will wish it were Lucifer instead.

I will give you a mini example of both of these pet peeves at play in Lya.

Context: Lya and Mammon were hanging around the kitchen. Lya made fresh, authentic okonomiyaki. She explicitly asked Mammon if he wanted his own, and he said no because he was too stuffed from his last meal. Now, he’s trying to steal a bite from her food and he grabbed a knife to cut it into wedges like a pizza.

[Lya’s left eye twitches. The cheerful demeanor suddenly radiates a dark aura.]

Lya: "Mammon. Drop the knife. Carefully."

Mammon: "Wh-what? I just wanted a little slice of the cabbage pizza thing-"

Lya: "PIZZA THING?!" [She slams both hands on the table.] "First of all, it is Okonomiyaki. Second of all, did I, or did I not, look you dead in the eyes ten minutes ago and ask, 'Mammon, do you want me to make you one?' And what did you say?"

Mammon: "I said I wasn't hungry! But it smells good, okay?! Just give me a wedge!"

Lya: "You don't cut it into wedges, you absolute heathen! You cut it into a grid! A perfect, beautiful, symmetrical grid! The small squares make it so the toppings, sauce and mayo stay perfectly distributed on top of each bite! If you slice it like a pizza, all of it will slide off into the middle, and you ruin the structural integrity of the entire dish! Do you want a mouthful of plain cabbage, Mammon? Because that is how you get a mouthful of plain cabbage!"

Mammon: [Sweating, backing away] "Okay, okay! Just cut it into squares then, just let me get a bite will ya-"

Lya: "NO! You waived your rights to this food the exact second you said 'I'm not hungry.' I mentally budgeted every single square inch of this meal for my stomach. If I give you a bite, my food-to-happiness ratio is completely compromised. You are a thief, Mammon. A thief of joy, a thief of carbs, and a criminal against Osaka culture."

Mammon: [Yelping, backing away] "Whoa, chill out, Pinky! Why are ya lookin' at me like you're gonna throw a chair?!"

Lya: "Sit down, Mammon. Do not touch my plate. You will stay there and you will watch me eat every single square of this grid in perfect silence, or so help me...do you understand me?!"

Then Lya will sit there, glaring at Mammon adorably while eating her food. Punishment enacted. Lesson well learned. 🩷

Now for her favorite scenery. Lya doesn't have a single favorite place or view. Instead, she is simply captivated by anything beautiful. She is just as easily fascinated by a high bridge overlooking a sprawling, LED-lit city at midnight as she is standing in a quiet field of blooming flowers. If it is pretty, vibrant, and full of life, Lya will fall in love with it.

As for her texting style, she likes using emojis a lot when she is speaking to family and friends. If she's texting an acquaintance or a stranger, or if she's writing a comment on social media/making a post, her messages will be very posh, elegant and straight to the point.

Public example: "You look wonderful! Though I'm not sure the camera could ever truly capture how radiant you are in person."

Family/friend example: "Maaaaaaaaa! 💖 Want something from Hell's Kitchen? ✨ I'm also stopping by the bakery. 🍰 Tell Daddy I'm grabbing chocolate cupcakes. 🧁 Lucifer said he's buying~ 🤭"

Lya is rather quick with replying to messages unless she is busy working at her boutique or with her family. Usually though for family and close friends she's quick to reply. It honestly depends.

Also YES. Lya has a motto. I had a mini comic made about this before. Ahaha. Her motto is "If you have something to say that's worthwhile, say it with a smile." which basically means if you can't say what you're about to say with a genuine and kind smile on your face...YOU SHOULD NOT SAY IT / DON'T SAY IT. Lucifer comically took it as a challenge.

Lya's daily routine is basically...wake up, get cleaned up and dressed, wake Lucifer up because apparently he stopped being able to wake himself up when they married. 🤣 Then she will go and wake their baby and get him bathed and dressed. If it's a work day and both parents have to work. The baby either stays with one of Lucifer's brothers or Lya's parents. If only one parent works the baby stays with the parent that doesn't have to work that day. (ie. Lya works but Lucifer is off for the day.)

At home chores and cooking is split in half. If one person cooks the other washes dishes. If one does laundry the other dries it all. At night if the baby cries and one parent already got up to tend to him, the other parent will do it. The night almost always ends with a quiet moment between the couple as they sit by the fire with drinks and exhausted but contented looks on their faces.

That's basically all I have for their home and daily life right now. 😅 I really have to think more about these kinds of things.

As for the feature Lya is most confident about...are we talking physical? Or personality? I'll do both.

I honestly think Lya is pretty proud of her heart. She never let things that hurt her turn her cold towards love or new people. She never let fear make her hesitate. Her heart really is the prettiest and most alluring thing about her.

For her physical trait/feature... definitely her hair. Lya is incredibly proud of it and she only felt prouder when Lucifer one day expressed how much he loved her hair and loved to touch and play with it. He will often toy with her braids and run his fingers through the waves. That knowledge makes her really happy and sometimes she will purposely let it fall over him a bit as she sits beside him so he instinctively plays with it. It's really cute. 🥺

If Lya one day woke up and the Devildom was gone...Lucifer was gone...Lucien was gone...the brothers were gone, everyone was gone...

The amount of fear and rage she would feel would be unbearably immense. It's difficult to say exactly what she would do when it could be multiple things. She could become so enraged that she destroys whatever realms are left trying to find her family. Or she could succumb to the unbearable grief of losing her son and husband, and be absolutely inconsolable to the point of her own demise. Both of these could even happen.

Or...she could keep a level head and figure out exactly what happened, why it happened and how to reverse it. She'd do everything in her power to get her loved ones and the Devildom back. Though I'll be honest, I feel like this option is highly unlikely. The thing about Lya is she is very slow to anger. She is a patient person. She is bright and bubbly and the sweetest girl you'll ever meet...until you mess with her family. So with an event like the Devildom disappearing (and presumably everyone in it) Lya would skip the kindness and grace and most likely fly into that intense rage because she's scared. Her family is her anchor. Without them, what reason is actually left for her to control her powers?

Something like this would make Lya have a complete psychological break and whoever caused it would pay. Dearly. You don't play with a woman's husband and child. 💔

I also want to add that Lya's magic usually has a bright, warm feel to it. It's very light and airy...almost playful...also very sparkly and pink. Her magic is a physical manifestation of her soul. But during a stressful event like this it would heavily resemble her father's power because of her grief and rage. So it would become very dense, dark and suffocating, dark purple to black in color. Instead of radiating her usual playfulness and purity, it would emit dread and fear to anyone that went near it, or her.

Ahaha! 😅 Lots of thinking, research, and replaying the games went into this. I really want to explain Lya's dad the best I can, but before I do, here is a small disclaimer. It is all fictional and I definitely don't want to offend anyone who is religious. This is just my personal Obey Me canon!

With that out of the way, let's talk about Lya's father. Aionel is the God of the void. The Obey Me universe tends to leave gaps and plot holes, and my intention was to fill those holes a bit while expanding my own universe. For example, the game never actually tells us who or what created the realms (as far as I know!) We are only told that someone named "Father" rules the Celestial Realm and created the angels, while the Demon King lineage rules the Devildom and all demons. There is no mention of a Human realm ruler, and beyond that, nothing is said about how these realms came to exist.

I also want to add that we know MC is powerful enough to bring down entire realms because their power is just that massive and uncontrollable without Lucifer's ring of light. To me (it's my humble opinion) it sounded a bit silly that the only reason for this was MC having angel blood and being human. Those two things became the foundation I used to create the God Aionel. Part of his lore is that he is the one who created all three realms. He created the Celestial Realm, then created "Father" to rule over it. Father then created the angels and built what the Celestial Realm is today. At the same time, Aionel made the Devildom and the very first Demon King to rule it. As for the Human realm, Aionel did not make a ruler for it because he created it directly in the "realm" he resided in, which is outer space. He would watch over the humans himself...and slowly become intrigued by the tiny lives that lived on his small, floating rock.

So to establish the timeline, the Celestial Realm and the Devildom came into existence (through Aionel) at the exact same time, along with their respective rulers. Then, later on, the Human world was made by Aionel right inside his own realm. They are all completely separate realms.

To break down his names:
"Aionel" means God of the Eternal Emptiness, which is his true divine name.

"Vaelrian" means King of the Void Veil, which is the name he gave himself to hide his true identity from humans.

Now I'll explain Sara a little bit! ☺️

For Sara, I had to think a lot. I kept asking myself questions like "Why would a God assume a human form for a mortal woman?" and "What would it look like for that to happen?" 😭 I was spiraling! But then I remembered Sara is Lilith's descendant. But then again, so is everyone that came before her. I had to make Sara special because I couldn't have a whole lineage of overpowered people across their bloodline. Sara had to stand out. Because of that, I decided that this special power and purity skipped all generations before Sara, only to show up like a bright beacon in Sara herself (and later on in Lya) I'm still working out their full lore, so bear with me! 😭 We don't need a specific reason! Sara was just built different. 🤣

Her soul wasn't just sparkling like Solomon's soul did, it was a whole light beam! Just imagine this tiny laser beam shining so far and so bright out of the earth that it shot right into Aionel's gigantic eye. 😭🙏🤣

In a world full of normal, mortal human, she stuck out like a VERY obvious green thumb.

Her soul only got more striking as she grew to became a woman. That unique radiance, coupled with how incredibly beautiful she was, is what caught the god's attention. On top of that, Aionel was a lonely god who had spent his entire existence by himself. He made realms and created rulers to govern them, and those rulers were never lonely because they made subjects, families, and hierarchies. Aionel did not make any subjects to reside with him in the void, and he didn't create a hierarchy. He only remained there watching over the human realm, and they didn't even know of his existence. He never actually desired to assume a human form and visit the realm he created yet loved from a distance, until he noticed Sara's soul one day. That moment was the catalyst that ultimately led to Lya being born.

Ahaha, this is so long! Sorry! 😭 I was also using your question to brainstorm further. None of this is actually set in stone honestly. It might change or it might not but for now this is what I have. 🫶

Also yes, Lucifer does meet them, though I haven't thought about what their first encounter would have been because I've been so focused on their main lore. 😮‍💨 But Lya's dad is extremely protective of her and I can tell you that initially, he DID NOT like Lucifer. It isn't that Lucifer wasn't trying to be likeable to him. It's that no one is good enough for his baby. He also called Lucifer a "puffed-up feather duster" once (referring to his wings when he takes his demon form) 😭

They were at odds for a while...poor Lucifer tried really hard to earn his favor while his ego suffered tremendously. He handled it though. For Lya. She would play mediator all day though. 🤣

Lucifer does eventually earn his respect, however, and becomes someone that Lya's dad values deeply.

Here are some fun facts to add:

❖ Vaelrian is the name he took while living in the human world.

❖ He could not stay in the human world for very long as a human. It wasn't that he was incapable of doing it, but rather that the human world was not made to contain a massive god. If he stayed for more than one month out of twelve months, the earth would implode. Even so, he still tried to be the best, most present daddy he could be, even after every eleven months apart. 🥺 😭💔

❖ After all of the events in the Devildom far in the distant future, Vaelrian and Sara move into the Devildom to be with Lya. Vaelrian is able to stay in this realm indefinitely because the Devildom was obviously made to contain powerful supernatural entities, so it won't get sucked into a random wormhole of existential confusion.

❖ When Aionel permanently abandoned the void to move into the Devildom, the Celestial Realm’s “Father” completely ceased all communications and political pressure against the demon realm. Knowing that his own ultimate creator now resides in the realm, the Celestial ruler treats the Devildom with a silent, careful respect to avoid drawing Aionel’s ire. Lya and Aionel’s existence in this place alone has created an anchor for peace between all worlds. Diavolo's dream of unity finally came true.

❖ Lya did not know her father's real identity until she was an adult, though I haven't decided exactly how that happens yet. She grew up thinking her daddy was just a pretty man who knew how to paint beautiful art pieces and went away for work eleven months out of the year. Poor thing! She is such a total daddy's girl though.

❖ Vaelrian's human eyes are electric blue, and he stands at about 6 feet 7 inches in height.

❖ Lya's massive power comes from having a mix of angel, human, and god blood. This incredible family tree becomes even more miraculous when Lucifer and Lya have their son, Lucien. Lucien is literally Diavolo's dream come true because he carries human, angel, god, and demon blood. He is the physical unity of all realms and all beings, and he just might grow up to be even more powerful than his parents.

❖ While the human world doesn't know for sure who or what created it, the celestial realm and the Devildom have books on Aionel locked away where no normal being can reach. These books were written by their respective rulers, Father and the original Demon King, acknowledging the one who created them. Considering that, Lord Diavolo absolutely knew who the God Aionel was. What he did NOT know was that his little exchange student was that god's blood daughter. He had an absolute heyday when he finally found out! 🤣

❖ Lastly, the knowledge of Aionel does of course eventually spread across the two realms. It was a hard pill to swallow for all angels, demons and everything in between. But Aionel firmly exclaimed that he did not come to the Devildom to rule or destroy. He came so he could finally live with his family (since he couldn't in the human world.)

He's just a big fluffy god teddy bear. 😭🧸 So cuteeeee.

❖ Because Michael and the high archangels are completely terrified of upsetting the origin of all things, the Celestial Realm routinely sends lavish peace offerings and rare celestial artifacts to Aionel's mansion in the Devildom. Completely unbothered by their panic, he ignores the political meaning behind the gifts and casually uses these priceless, sacred relics as expensive paperweights or doorstops around the house, which deeply amuses Lucifer whenever he visits them. Something about it just...comforts Lucifer's ego. 💙
